FISHBONE
Founded in Los Angeles in 1979, FISHBONE exploded onto the scene with a fearless fusion of funk, punk, ska, soul, jazz, metal, and rock that defied categorization.
At the heart of it all is Angelo Moore, whose boundless creativity, electrifying stage presence, and uncompromising artistic vision helped transform FISHBONE into one of the most distinctive and influential acts of its generation.
For more than four decades, FISHBONE has challenged conventions, celebrated individuality, and inspired countless artists across genres. Their music is joyful, rebellious and unpredictable. FISHBONE demands that originality is a superpower and the most powerful art comes from embracing who you are.
Since 2012, Moore has reemerged with Brand New Step, a fearless evolution of his artistry alongside collaborators Kris Jensen and Jim Greer. The project brings together a powerhouse collective including Del the Funky Homosapien, Mike Bordin, Claude Coleman Jr., Casual, and more.
